Angelo Baronessa, Director and Private Wealth Adviser, brings over a decade of financial expertise. He actively participates in the LGBTQIA+ business ecosystem as a member, but also as the Small Business Director, for GLOBE Victoria ↗, as well as a member of Pride Business Association ↗ (PBA Sydney). He hosts regular networking events amongst the two organisations to provide greater opportunities and support for other businesses across the country.

Angelo is also a familiar voice on Joy Media (94.9), as the playful (yet serious) Finance Guru on JOY Breakfast and Saturday Magazine, where he breaks down important financial topics relevant to our community.

He has a strong track record of creating solutions where the industry has fallen short, such as pioneering life insurance access for people taking PrEP in 2018 and for HIV+ individuals in 2023. In 2025, Divergent Wealth joined InsurePride ↗, an incorporated association for Australian insurance professionals to connect and share LGBTQ+ inclusion insights, best practices, and industry issues.
